Why it ranks here. The steamer everyone owns, from Walmart and Costco: hot in 40 seconds, two settings, and one owner reaches for it instead of the iron over 90 percent of the time. It does odd jobs too: one owner bought it to kill fleas hitching a ride on her cat and finds it works as well as a much bigger unit she once had, another sanitised a suitcase after a bedbug scare, and it freshens musty sweaters without a wash. GS59 or GS44 handheld.
The tank is good for about three shirts, heavy cotton defeats it, and one owner steamed a cotton shirt for an hour before a funeral without the wrinkles coming out. Some units die in weeks; one owner went through three, each working great for a few weeks and then stopping, despite distilled water. Most complaints are technique: pull the garment taut with the other hand.

I have been steaming my guys cotton shirt for literally an hour and the wrinkles will not come out on high heat! I just got this thing and I want to cry because we have a funeral in the morning and it’s not freaking working!!!! I’ve filled it 5x already and the wrinkles won’t come out!!!!!!

Conair steamer products work great for a few weeks. Then they suddenly stop working I went through three of them. And I use distilled water

I was only able to stram three shirts with this steamer. I wish that that the water container would have been larger.

I just bought this. Thanks for the tutorial. I see one problem from watching your video, the on /off buttons are on the wrong side. It would be easy to burn steam your face.

I was so excited to receive my brand new Conair handheld steamer today that I found on eBay—it was actually the lowest price I’ve seen online since I started researching it.😁 I thought everything would be simple to figure out, including the attachments that came with it, but I couldn’t quite understand how to use the creaser. The instructions that came with the steamer were pretty vague about it.

It works great for cleaning really dirty outdoor windows as it steams away the dirt as well and works great for a room humidifier and to steam clothes.

I have one of those. It’s fast and convenient. I use this over the iron over 90% of the time. Quite satisfied.

If you live somewhere with winter seasons, you have sweaters that can smell musty if they’re been in storage. The steamer freshens them up so you don’t have to wash them all again. Same goes with jackets that smell like food because you wore them to a restaurant with strong cooking smells. The steamer makes them fresh again.

I bought this specifically to steam things to sanitize things that CAN'T be ironed, such as luggage. My mom's apartment building was infested with bedbugs. Thankfully they got it under control, but I wasn't taking any chances after visiting her. I bought this steamer to sanitize my suitcase after out in the garage before bringing it in to my house.

I feel you didn't give the steamer a fair shot since you only used one hand when steaming. You have to pull down on the pant leg with your other hand to make it slightly taught, and then run the steamer over it at the same time. The slight tension coupled with the steam melts away the wrinkles. The trick to steamers is definitely hanging it up correctly and using both hands.

I have the Connor extreme steam that I picked up from Amazon and it works great lots of power I saw my lights go a little bit dim. 😂
