The GB40 has won the independent shootouts two years running and has more owner stories than anything else: V8s and diesel trucks started by a unit rated for four cylinders, after years untouched. It ranks first for that. It costs the most, and its override button confuses new owners.

You said the NOCO won't activate with a completely dead battery, but did you try the override? By default, it won't send anything when it can't sense the battery and polarity, but if you hold down the override button for 3 seconds, it'll do whatever you ask it to. The NOCO is fantastic! They should be on sale for Black Friday soon.

I am a professional technician. I use the same NOCO in this video. I can verify that the override button will start a car even without a battery present. It will work without override if it sees over 3 volts in your dead battery. The whole dealership knows what jump pack to come get when the others fail to do the job! Ps, I bought the NOCO because of your last shootout!

I bought a NOCO based on one of your older reviews a few years ago and it has never let me down. It also holds a charge for a ridiculously long period of time. I've had one sitting in my Jeep for over two years and still was able to jump a diesel dump truck!

I am convinced that the NOCO jumpers are the gold standard. I've been using 2 GB150s, since 2018 and 2019. They are used to Jumpstart diesel engines hundreds of times a year. Disclaimer: One of the GB150s (the one bought in 2019) did break after about a year and a half (prior to NOCO having a repair center). I called NOCO to see if they could repair it, and they said they don't do repairs but offered me a 50% off coupon for the same jumper on their website. Outstanding customer service. I am a 25 year Automotive Technician and I take my tools very seriously.

I bought a Noco Boost from your video a while back and I love it. I had to use it 7 times in one day and it still said it had 3 out of 4 charge bars. Keeps its charge forever too

Just bought the NOCO a few weeks ago and its a beast!! I hooked it up to a 150HP tractor that was sitting for over a month in 20's and 30F temps with no batteries in it and spun it right over!!!

The fact that the NOCO is two years old and outperformed pretty much all of the other jump starters really shows how good that jump starter is. I've watched the other times you did the jump starters and had the NOCO in them, really good quality jump starter. Definitely the one I'd purchase based on how it performed in your videos.

Bought and used a gb40 3 times when my battery was dying years ago, kept in the trunk, checked after a year or so and topped it off, back in the trunk for a year, used it last week to jump my car on the side of the interstate. Worth every cent. 3.5L v6 in my case.

I used a GB40 at my job yesterday to jump off two completely dead V6 sedans. They were so dead that I had to press the boost button (override button) for both vehicles. (Which means the car battery was below 2 amps). It started both cars and I noticed the remaining power level in the GB40 was only decreased by 1 bar.

I have had NOCOs for years. First a GB40 which performs flawlessly. Later added 2 GB70s so I have one in each vehicle. So much more compact and all the power you need. Charging not an issue. Charge while driving if necessary. If you don't happen to be on the M18 system already, it isn't cheap, but to me size is the biggest issue.
