- Best for
- Legs, arms, and body — anyone who wants strong physical exfoliation and loves trying new scents
- Grit level
- Coarse — one of the roughest scrubs on this list
Why it ranks here. Tree Hut is the body scrub most people already know: dozens of scents, on every drugstore and Walmart shelf, and a constant stream of comparison videos since it went viral. It is the most discussed product in the category by a wide margin.
Owners like the scent range, the coarse sugar and the oil it leaves behind: 'The sugar eventually melts while the oil stays on the skin when you rinse'↗, so one user skips lotion. Another calls the jars 'positively addicting'↗. The complaints: the price, which one commenter watched go 'from being $2.50 on Amazon to $9 because of tik tok'↗; the oil making the tub slippery, which worries buyers before they even try it; a scent that made one husband say his wife 'smelled like his grandmas bathroom'↗; and a minority whose skin reacted with dry patches or a breakout. In the endless Tree Hut versus Dove debate, Tree Hut wins on grit and scents, Dove on gentleness.

I love the Tree hut scrubs. The sugar eventually melts while the oil stays on the skin when you rinse. My skin is moisturized and I don’t need any lotion or oil.
-
Tree Hut is my go to body scrub.

I've been lurking tree hut at wlmart plus see it all on social media lol I think I'll try the tree hut just because I like the coarse scrubs to the mild ones. Only thing I'm worried of is potentially slipping due to the oils in scrubs .

These scrubs are positively addicting. If I had more storage space in my shower I’d probably have an entire collection of them.

Ugh I purchased the blue lagoon because I finally ran out of the Peppermint (the best imo) and literally my husband said I smelled like his grandmas bathroom! You called it shell soaps is the exact smell.

Interestingly enough, I’ve never been a Tree Hut scrub girl - I love their shave oils and body creams, but my favorite scrub is anything from the Onyx Bathhouse brand at TJ Maxx. The texture is sooo good and I prefer them to Tree Hut, but maybe I’ll give them a try again soon!

Tree Hut body scrub left patches of dry skin on my arms

used the scrub 2 weeks ago and immediately broke out with acne, what should I do for the pore visibility and overall skin condition?
