I bought this shaver after your review. I used it to shave my head for the first time recently. It is an excellent shaver. I do recommend using it dry as it provides a super close shave.

The series 9 is expensive, especially during this recession. But it provides a massive quality of life improvement. No mess, no hair everywhere. It provides a shave almost as close as the Gillette for me... I love how easy it is to use and I can go over my head with it quickly without getting cuts, razor burn or other irritation.

I got the Braun 9 recently at Costco and man I am impressed! It did a great job at shaving! Smooth and fairly quick! I shave every other day! I highly recommend this product!

So I just got one of these a few days ago and so far this thing is amazing... It cost me about $300 US, but I think it's totally worth it. The razor is pretty loud but there are a bunch of blades working in that little thing.

Thanks for the review! I just bought a Series 9 Sport last month at Costco on sale for $160 after having used a friends Series 9 pro. Love it and it's so much easier on my face since my skin is sensitive to blades.

I got a closer shave with less irritation that I do with my pitbull skullshaver. This shaver did a much better job at the back than my skullshaver... This shaver struggles with longer hair but for some reason it also struggles with neck hairs, I think because neck hair doesn't stand up like the rest of the beard.

Yeah, that sucker is pretty loud. Mine came in last night and I wasn’t expecting a $300 shaver to be so loud... It did a good job around my cheeks and parts of my neck. It definitely had a hard time getting those tricky spots which I had to clean up with a razor.

I find that even with this shaver I still struggle a bit to get a close shave around my neckline and Adam’s apple. Since this is technically a wt dry shaver I’m debating if adding some shaving foam or gel.

So there's this sticker that came on my cleaning station... The cleaning fluid got absolutely full of hair. And every time it cleans the hair coats the little cleaning well. This made me realize that there is actually only one reservoir in the cleaning cartridge.

If budget isn’t an issue, the Braun Series 9 Pro is usually the safest option for acne-prone skin... The Series 9 handles longer growth surprisingly well and is gentle enough that it doesn’t catch or tear acne.

The charging pin on my Braun Series 8 wet/dry shaver corroded and broke off after 1.5 years. So much for 100% waterproof. Given the obvious design flaw that carries over to the Braun Series 9, I opted to buy a Panasonic Arc 5.

I had a Braun 9 Pro Series shaver 2 years ago. The first shaver broke down due to some internal fault after a year. I bought another Braun 9 Series, and just after 1 year, it broke down again. I'm not getting any Braun shavers ever again, came here for a Panasonic review.
