Why it ranks here. The OneBlade is the most discussed trimmer there is, with one long-term review at over two million views, and the default answer for anyone whose skin hates razors. It shaves, edges and trims with one head, wet or dry, for $20 to $40 on sale. It ranks first for that, with pricey blades as the catch.
The praise is about skin. For a man who 'gets razor bumps pretty badly'↗, it has been 'somewhat revolutionary'↗; a woman whose eczema flares with a cartridge razor finds 'nothing happens when I use the OneBlade'↗. It is the 'Closest thing to a wet shave without the hassle'↗, and after a €20 purchase one owner 'haven't used my Norelco triple rotary shaver ever since'↗. It is tougher than it looks: one went through the washing machine 'with my clothes'↗ and 'the blade still cuts like normal'↗. The blades are the cost. They are 'very fragile'↗, held by 'some felxible plastic thingy'↗, and 'SO EXPENSIVE, seriously, it's ridiculous'↗. New owners press too hard, chasing a razor's closeness, and get nicks until they learn. Two trims a week gets six months per blade.

I may not be the target audience here, but as a woman, I love using this razor on my legs SO much. My eczema flares up badly if I shave my thighs with a cartridge razor, but nothing happens when I use the OneBlade which is amazing

I've had a One Blade for a couple years (still using the original cartridge) and it continues to impress. As someone who gets razor bumps pretty badly with traditional razors, the One Blade has been somewhat revolutionary for me. I recommend the product without reservation.

I got it because it DOESN"T cut close and thus I didn't get ingrown hairs on my neck. I use mine once every month just to trim the neck hair of my beard.

I got this about 2 months and I am delighted with it. Closest thing to a wet shave without the hassle. The different trimmer heads work extremely well. I got it half price in a sale for €36 , great value for money!

I bought one of these a year, or so ago and love it. I've settled on the number 3 attachment and it keeps my beard trimmed to that length perfectly. It saves me a bundle on Barber Shop visits! As I only trim 2x a week, I've found that the blades easily last for 6 months! 😉👍

I bought one today, found it for around 20€. Just finished shaving and it is above every blade I used so far. Skin is not irritated, no cuts, does not matter wet or dry shaving. I really like those combs that came with it since I never shave all the way to the skin. They (combs) work well, as they should. Can recommend for sure, especially if you find it for cheap

When it's good it's good but that's not always the case. I love my OneBlade but there are a few dealbreakers that made me consider a switch. 1. The razors are very fragile, they're only being held together by some felxible plastic thingy which is pretty thin and break if too much pressure is applied (and that's less than you'd think) 2. The razors are SO EXPENSIVE, seriously, it's ridiculous 3. It seems like the bigger comb you attach, the more inconsistent results you get (but that might just be my beard) It's pretty nice for close shaving, but it wasn't as much of a hit for my beard treaming use.

I still prefer a cartridge razor for my face, but I use the One Blade for trimming around my beard and for buzzing my scalp. I find the closeness of the shave lands somewhere between the cartridge and standard electric razor and it does a great job for what I want it to do.

I replaced my first razor in a year and four months, but the last two months I didn't feel very comfortable. I've got the same device to my son, and he still uses the first razor (1y6m), but he doesn't use it every day, but once a week.

I have been using my OneBlade for a couple years. I have absolutely loved it! There is no better option.

It really is a fantastic razor! I went to buy a simple trimmer, but ended up getting a Oneblade (for only €20!) and I haven't used my Norelco triple rotary shaver ever since. The Oneblade shaves almost as close as the Norelco with no skin irritation at all, there's no need to use any aftershave to calm the skin. A truly revolutionary device!

Too much pressure. You’re trying to get the oneblade to give you the same results as a regular blade and it doesn’t work like that.

I've tried every type of razor and ended up switching to an old fashioned double edge (razorock gamechanger 68p with Astor blades at the mo), shaving brush, finished off with an alum bar and moisturiser. Much better shave and less irritation than safety razors, electric foil, Philips oneblade and anything else I've tried. Takes a bit of learning to get your technique down, but now I can get a perfect shave just as quickly as with anything else.
